Directions to Cary Police Department Firearms Training Facility


From Cary:

1. Take US1 South to Exit 89 New Hill/Jordan Lake Exit

2. At top of Exit ramp turn Left onto New Hill Holloman Road

3. Go 1.0 miles and turn Right onto Shearon Harris Road

4. Go 1.4 Miles until you approach a curved "Y" intersection at the entrance to the Shearon Harris Plant. At the "Y" intersection turn Left and go through the gate and down the dirt/gravel road on the left side. Do not go down the paved road which leads to the power plant.

5. Go 0.5 Miles down the dirt/gravel road. You will pass the Wake County Fire Training Center. Turn Left at the first rock/gravel road past the Fire Training Center. (The entrance to the Cary Police Department Firearms Training Facility)

6. Follow the road for 0.3 Miles until you arrive at the parking lot for the range.

From Durham:

Take Highway 751 South.  As you cross over US64 751 South turns into several different road names but stay straight.  Eventually it crosses over US1 and turns into New Hill Holloman Road.  From there follow instructions starting at #3 above.
